The Norton Historical Society School House at 18 West Main St.

The Norton Historical Society, Norton, Massachusetts, is a non-profit organization that preserves the town’s history and offers an ever growing museum.

Our goal is to educate the citizens of Norton by providing an understanding of past traditions and a comprehensive history of the town. We collect, study, and maintain photographs, newspapers, artifacts, books, publications and other miscellaneous items relating to the history of Norton. Additionally, we provide public programs, events, and a tour of the Old School House at 18 West Main St.

As a historical society we are here to assist those who are looking for information regarding the history of Norton, as well as supporting academic research.

PLEASE NOTE
The Norton Historical Society will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am – 2pm. However, due to snow and ice and unplowed parking lots, we may not always be open during those times. Please call to confirm if we are open during inclement weather. Thank you!
